Authenticity

SUMMARY

In the recognition procedure, one of the first major steps is to certify the applicant’s identity, and to make sure that documents provided are authentic: are they genuinely issued by a recognized institution to the applicant (and not to someone else)? In this chapter, recommendations are provided on how to verify educational documents submitted by the applicant, both internally and externally.
